We extend a warm and heartfelt welcome to one of the newest families to join our community.

Over recent months, they have faced an incredibly challenging journey. Between December 2025 and February 2026, the devastating floods in Julia Creek resulted in the loss of more than 500 head of cattle. A tragedy that is truly difficult to comprehend.

Sadly, this is not the first hardship they have endured. After working tirelessly to recover from the 2019 floods, they are once again faced with the daunting task of rebuilding their livelihood from the ground up.

Their courage, resilience, and determination through such repeated adversity is deeply inspiring. We are honoured to support them as they begin this next chapter of recovery, and we are proud to welcome them into the Adopt-A-Beast family.
