Our Mission
Our mission is to provide Australian farmers and cattle graziers with post-crisis support with the replenishment of livestock.
Our Story
Adopt-A-Beast was founded in July 2019 after devastating floods swept through Julia Creek and surrounding Queensland communities, leaving local farmers facing heartbreaking losses. In a matter of days, livelihoods built over generations were washed away.
Adopt-A-Beast supports Australian farmers when disaster strikes - whether it’s flood, fire, or drought. We are the only charity in Australia solely dedicated to livestock replenishment for farmers in need.
At the heart of Adopt-A-Beast is the understanding that a graziers livestock is their livelihood and that major losses can be the biggest impediment to any crisis recovery. For this reason Adopt-A-Beast only provides assistance with post crisis livestock regenerating.
Supporting Adopt-A-Beast helps us rebuild the herd, restore the hope, and reclaim the future.

It was a great opportunity to connect with the community, have meaningful conversations, and highlight the work and values that matter most to me.
Thank you so much to Nyree for having me on.
