Adopt-A-Beast
Our mission is to provide cattle graziers with post-crisis support for the replenishment of livestock.
We are the only Australian charity that helps cattle graziers rebuild their herds after crisis events.
Our Story
Adopt-A-Beast was established in July 2019 in response to the catastrophic floods that devastated Julia Creek and surrounding communities in Queensland. These floods caused severe livestock losses, leaving cattle graziers struggling to recover.
Our mission is to provide vital support to graziers after disasteres such as flood, fire, and drought. We are the only charity in Australia helping them to rebuild and restore their herds with heifers, bulls, and breeding resources.
Supplying breeding stock to graziers who have lost almost everything is a way that we can give them a fresh start and a way forward.
